Hi Rebekah,
Nice to meet you! I am pasionnate about working with young people as a team leader.I study English hoping to become a good translator.
J'ai trouvé ton blog très special et je suis impressionné par ton sens de l'humour.Je souhaite te rencontrer très bientôt en COTE D'IVOIRE.
haha...ok...yeah i was here last year for 2 months and did a bunch of travelling, but now im volunteering, but i'll get to see the country again beacause im helping to lead a young adults tour. sorry about the "staff"....i did a YWAM course in denver last year and it just got into my head..
Hey! I am super excited that I'll be able to serve and speak with you!!! J'éspère que mon français parlé n'est pas mauvais!!! Je peux lire mais je crois que j'ai peur faire les erreurs. Et puis, mes mots sont souvent dans ma tete et pas dans ma bouche.
I'm hoping that Cote D'Ivoire will help me get over this and let my french tongue flourish :)

(oh and PLEASE correct any errors I made here! Thanks!)
Great to hear your in! How long have you been cleared to serve for? We are both looking forward to serving with you and learning from each other in Cote d'Ivoire. We just got flight clearance - and will be flying over there on April 27th! Do keep in touch in the coming weeks and months.
Taught in DC? Well... then perhaps you can handle me. :) My best friend is studying to be a linguist. She's constantly correcting me when we're studying French and Arabic.
Right now I'm studying Religion concentrating in Biblical studies. My minor is Cultural Studies (though I've taken enough classes to make that a major). Thanks for approving of my photos! I love photography, a lot... and think it can be so beneficial overseas in helping raise awareness of activities in missions. You can hear stories all day, tune out and not be impacted... but a picture you can't deny what your eyes have seen.
I'm in Lynchburg right now, finishing up my degree in Religion at Liberty University. However, I'm really from just outside DC. :)
I read that you're the one teaching French to us... are you prepared for someone with a horrible tongue for languages? Because I'm HORRIBLE! No lie lol
Comment dit-on en français : "Etes-vous disponible de 9h à 11h demain pour nous enseigner plus de français". And I say back "'ça va bien! je serai là" :-)
Stoked you are considering joining our journey together. Thanks for your hints about French...for me I just need a good foundation of vocab and how sentences are formed/ conjugated. Getting the accent comes easier to me than those things.
You will enjoy Africa, hope it works for you to join us! We will have just a few Midterm missionaries the first year, with loads of the Journeyers, and a few long term field leaders.
