Hahahaha!! Yeah, we really loved those 2 weeks for sure... wish it would have been longer. That just wets our appetite for time in CI! How are things coming along there? Keep us in the loop!

hey, lovely! How are you? I was praying for you today and thought I stop by and see how support raising is going. We'll have to catch up soon, eh? Have a wonderful day!!
hi lindsey, i see support is heavy on your mind. i'm amission supporter and going on my own to cot d'ivoire sept 6th-oct 5th.
if i may i'll give you a proven method to network your plan. you need computer with intranet and a fax machine. fax will get better response than email. there are thousands of people available thru searches of conferences, associations, coventions and companies that submit there emails.just search web. try ''missions board or use church directories on line the supply of contacts is limitless. hand write letter and say dear(there name) and tell story make sure you add all your contact info cell fax and email dont email ! fax hand written and ledgible. to them personally. emails just get deleted. send out at least 50 per day. you will get responses sometimes for years. people love to get faxed personally. i built 15 million dollar business this way call me if you need my help. mark newport 317 223 9627 this goes for all persons who need support God makes it happen you need to help. your new friend mark
yes freaking out while trusting God can happen - but striving to continue to do what God wants can be a calming force and an aide to partner development. Remember if God wants you in Cote d'Ivoire He will get you here when and how He wants, your role is to be faithful in telling the story of how He's called you here. Praying for you.
I would say freaking out is pretty normal -- even when you are trusting God. The trick is when you feel your emotions start to run wild, remind yourself that you need to trust God again. And again. And again. I'll be praying for calmness and provision!
Looking forward to having you here with us in Cote d'Ivoire. How are your preparations coming along - support, yes, but relational, spiritual, physical, etc. as well?
Lindsay!
I literally have no clue!! last week at this time I was having anxiety about support raising! I just keep thinking "tell people what God is doing and what that requires". I was struggling with it and still am, but I feel a peace about God's timing- maybe He won't bring it all in until the next batch of Journeyers go out in March. But He WILL get us there! I'm praying for you and our whole team as we enter the last few months of preparation. how's your support coming?
Hi love bug..i haven't heard from yea in a while. Hope all is well : ) can you believe we have only 132 days until we leave..Craziness. Well have a great day
Unfortunately, I won't be going. After lots of prayer, I just felt it wasn't God's Will for me to go this time around. I really want to get into full time missions in the future though.
Lindsay- great to see you on here! Katrina and I are looking forward to meeting you in Cote d'Ivoire, as we'll be helping to lead up this whole crazy thing we're all getting into. I'm a huge believer in learning through asking questions - so start firing away with any of them you may have to whoever you Journey Corps you feel you'd like to ask. Two questions for you as you continue in this journey: 1) what's led you to see this as part of what you were made to do, how's that been confirmed, and what are the other parts of what you were made to do? 2) I think I saw you had an interest in the medical track, what in your life has led to that interest?
