So good hearing from you! It looks like they may be post phoned again. We will see. Everything will be fine for your arrival. We are getting everything ready as much as we can and God is good and faithful all the time.

Hey lady! Glad to hear about the sale! God is good.
Glad to know you are excited about the JC library here. Lots of good books (though do realize that many are a decade or more old - not a lot of new stuff, but a lot of classics). As you narrow down the list of your own books you are considering bringing, feel free to ask if a specific title is already here or not - as that way you can bring something that isn't and get two books for the weight of one. Looking forward to meeting you in a month!
And, of course, my French isn't perfect either, despite my masters'!
I would love to know a little more about you ... if you want to send me a separate message, that would be awesome, just so I can know more about you and your passion for la Côte d'Ivore!
Maybe I'll correct your French if it is terrible, but right now just write, read, speak, and hear as much as you can, CJ!
Caitlin, we are excited to receive here in RCI. I know Rod will be so thankful to have another Journeyers who speaks French as most of us do not yet. I am living here for the past 3wks and will be here for another 125 wks!!
Today i hitchhiked by riding a moto from a man heading to Bouake passing our campus today, he thanked me for giving me a ride and wouldn't accept any money! Then i sat and reviewed my French words at an outdoor cafe, buying some coffee for 100 francs (.20cents) before my French tutor session began.
Hey Caitlin! I'm so excited to be serving with you next year!
Glad to hear you are in application to join us in Journey Corps! Be sure to let any of us (Journey Corps leaders/staff) know if you have any questions along the way. Out of curiosity: What led you to pursue a minor in French and what is your major in school? - Peter
