heya lady. Looking forward to our talk tomorrow! BTW - just a quick reminder that you are super important to our team and the girls LOVE when you pop your head into their room! Where are you blogging?
Definitely know how it is to have a million and one things to do - and at some times feeling like that can't all get done. The great thing is GOd always gives us enough time to do all the things He wants us to - the challenge is to figure out what those things are and say no to the rest. We keep praying; let us know what we can do/answer/etc to help you along the way.
Looking forward to having you here with us in Cote d'Ivoire. How are your preparations coming along - support, yes, but relational, spiritual, physical, etc. as well?
The search is alright. I've found one I really like, but I'm still praying about it. It is hectic because I want a home church so badly; but I gotta keep reminding myself, I want the Lord more so I'll pursue Him, not a building. Thanks for the prayers, girl. You have NO idea how much I appreciate them.
Support letters make me so happy. I'm still putting mine together. Glad to read you've gotten responses! The Lord WILL provide, so I'll be praying that you keep that in the for front of your mind. Keep me updated on your progress to Cote d'Ivoire!
Hi Jamie!! I will definitely be praying for you! And I am meeting with a girl on friday to come and look at the apartment, I'm really hoping this works out! I love your questions :)
1. If I was a crayon, I would be green. It is my favorite color. It reminds me of nature and peace and calmness.
2. When I think of Mozambique, my first thought is when we pulled up to a school they have under a mango tree and the children welcomed us with song, I was so moved that I could not help but cry. I also got to meet the little girl that I sponsor and her family. That was amazing.
3. I have one little brother, he is 16 and I love him to death!
I have some questions for you!
1. What color would you be?
2. What would your dream job be? and What are your passions?
3. Do you have any siblings? If so, how old?
Thanks, Jamie. Most of the pictures were taken in Zambia but some where around DC where I live. Things are slow and steady really. The Lord is good, so I have no worries. I just moved to Dallas, TX so praying that I find the right church and make some solid friends is a huge prayer request, which all ties into fund raising. Thanks, girl. How about you?
Hey Jamie! I'm just getting the ball rolling on all my preparations and they're going pretty well so far! Fundraising is going to be a challenge (which I'm sure you definitely know as well) so I would love so prayer for that. Also my grampa is having triple bypass surgery this Thursday so prayer for that would also be greatly appreciated! How are things going for you?
Hi Jamie! Thank you so much, I went to Mozambique for two weeks last summer and it absolutely changed my life! I would love prayer! Right now I am really trying to find somebody to take my apartment for next year because the original plan fell through. It is pretty stressful and I am still paying rent as of now. It would be awesome if you could pray for that situation. Please let me know if there is anything specific that I can pray for you about! I can not wait to meet you!
Hey lady! I'm glad you are getting that support letter out soon. I'll be praying for you. I already sent out batch one and let me tell you, prayer is what we need to get out second big need of finances ! On the team site for JC there are a bunch of resources I created to help people start in the French language studies ... if you have time give it a go!
In the meantime, I will totally pray for the little ones. I understand that struggle and I'm glad you are willing to share!
For me, pray for support raising (of course) and my last month of grad school.
