OK. I guess you can make some things happen. Throw the switch and the light turns on. At least if you're in America. Most other places...maybe not. But even in less reliable "public services" countries you can establish if it works or not. So you can make those things happen.

But the things you "can" make happen really only amount to moving the puzzle pieces around. Only God can make them come together to form the picture He has in mind for you and your life.

So...this is not any great revelation. Unless you consider...the things I can do are truly not that important. It's the things that God does with my attempts at accomplishing things that is important. The trick is learning how to attribute to Him His due when we think our moving the pieces around made the picture happen. Does that make sense?

For Mimi and I, we've been meeting people and raising our support for Journey Corps. It's the job God has given us for now. But what's obvious is that we can't make people give. Plus, the ones we think will support us often don't. The ones we haven't even talk too do. We've watched it happen so many times we are getting the message that He is making the picture. He has asked us to move the pieces around. But He is making the picture that is formulating our future at Journey Corps in West Africa. We are truly blessed
