There are many things that Journey Corps will help with, but I'll just start with one and add more later. Journey Corps hopes to serve the church. The church in West Africa is growing but there is so much to do throughout the region in order to help bring the gospel to their comunities and care for their peoples' needs. Now is a perfect time for Journey Corps: Ivory Coast because the Ivorian church has asked for help. They have needs and they love the idea of people coming to their comunities to be intentional about meeting those needs. As journeyers, we have much to learn from the Ivorian church. We come with skills and majors, but it's the Ivorians that are going to teach us how to apply ourselves in their communites. Through working together we will bless each other and empower the Body of Christ.
