Since coming back to Cote d'Ivoire from Benin I have been busy, but nothing takes up an entire blog. So, here is a summary of whats going on with some pictures.

Before I got back I knew that setting up the Satellite for internet on campus was going to be a priority. It is going little by little. The sky finally clears around eight at night, and I lug the receiver, my laptop, a long extension cord, and some other cables up on top of the gymnasium and try to get lucky. Eventually, future people may be able to take online Bible classes while they are here.

I am also spending nights now and then helping one of the workers with a honey bee project and trying to learn all I can without getting too stung.

Back at the end of June I had the privilege of attending the graduation ceremony of thirteen now pastors from our Church association's Bible school. Below is a picture of the graduates, their wives, and the school director.

Included in that group was my friend/older brother Nanou.

Then just last week over nine-hundred pastors and church elders came to a conference here in Bouake for a few days of seminars and to receive over thirty Biblical study books (from Commentaries to John Piper). Many of the representatives from our association of churches (over a hundred) stayed in dorms on the campus where I live, so it was a livelier milieu for a couple days. I was happy to host Nanou and a few others in my dorm. It meant as the youngest (since there were no girls) I busy tending to them, but I did get free dinners out of it.

This week I am going to a seminar hosted by Tentmakers International just a few hours north at the Bible school. It is a couple days and covers topics like ministry through business, Muslim evangelism, and the concept of tentmaking missions.

Then at the end of August there will be a national youth camp held on the campus were I live for the young people for our churches across Cote d'Ivoire.
