Well the Journey Corps Fall 2012 team has arrived and we just finished week two of orientation! These two weeks have been a blur of new faces, new names, explaining culture, translating, talking, talking, and more talking. So much has changed now with a whole new group but I'm so excited to see what changes are to come during their next 11 weeks of orientation.

I'm not really sure what to tell you guys that will be of any interest to you but I would like to say thank you to my supporters, if it weren't for you guys I wouldn't be here for this! It is interesting however now being the person who actually knows things. It's almost weird being able to translate now. I mean, I've been able to speak French well enough to do that for awhile, but I didn't have the comparison with the new people. They are all fresh from the U.S. and Germany and it's been crazy reminiscing about when I was exactly like them!

As far a the newbies go, they're all great. I've really enjoyed getting to know and hanging out with all of them. They're learning French and culture really fast so I'm excited for them!

I'll write a more thorough update later, but be praying for the university students. They were supposed to start classes on September 3rd and still haven't. So many of my friends who are students are really discouraged that they still haven't started. I don't really know what's going on that's putting it off so long, but it's really not fair to these students.
