Bouake, Day 6

SATURDAY



Today started with a huge rainstorm that ended around 6:45a, so I thought when I left for Peter and Katrina’s 90 minutes later, the ground would still be wet, but bone dry earth greeted me as I walked the few meters to

their second floor apartment for breakfast. Yogurt (which I didn’t think

existed here!), bread and jam comprised breakfast and then after talking for a

Bouake, Day 5

Friday:

Well, I finally made it to my home, and I must say that I was positively surprised. I had a normal, hot shower at the guest house, my bags were not stolen (though my Malarone-induced dreams led me to believe they

were), and we had lovely pastries for breakfast on the road. We left a little

after 6:30a since we were taking a third passenger with us. The ride was filled
