Short Blog on Little Old Ladies

These are the type who need help crossing the street. But I'm now asking you, when you help them cross the street, ask them to pray for me. I've realized that I feel more touched and humbled when old people tell me that they will keep me on their prayer list for my time in Africa than I do with others. Sorry, friends. Planning My Last Days

I'm caught in a bit of a conundrum ... as I am thinking about what to do with my last 6 weeks here and what to pack, I talk as if Africa is the end of my life and the most 3rd world experience ever:


"I really want to go to Vancouver before I leave to see friends and family" - except I've only been there once in 25 years, so I really need to go again just in case I don't go during the other 75 years of life.
