I just posted new photos from my latest trip to Cote d'Iviore. Daniel and I were able to inventory the dorms and apartments and access their readiness. Based on our findings I have adjusted my fund raising goals, so we can updates the dorms with some new appliances and supplies. Feeling discouraged and dissapointed right now. Hope someone can correct me if I'm wrong in this regard. Turns out I'm not eligible to go to ICA in Cote d'Iviore as maintenance staff because I'm Canadian. I can go into missions with a similar organization in Canada but this will not get me to ICA.

Am I understanding this right or can I make this work if I connect with a US church?…

So... about 36 hours till my meeting with my pastor to discuss my call to Africa and th announcement to my church. I'm a little nerveous....
I know he wants me to follow this calling and I trust that he will help make it possible... I know he called by the almost coincidental way this path started and has been guided... I'm calling it devine coincidense!!!

So one thing that I've been realizing recently is how funny it is that I am a missionary. I mean, let's be honest with ourselves; when we think of missionaries, we have this supernatural image in our mind of people who have dedicated their entire lives to Christ, who live on little income so that they can focus on saving the lost, who are spiritual giants. If this is the job qualification list of a missionary, someone put my application in the wrong pile!
