Profile Information

Why are you interest in Journey Corps?
I have been impressed by your mission team who sent missionaries to Africa to help people to get to know Jesus and to help built His church. One of the first missionary families where in Nielle, a village, where I am from.

Journey Corps I heard is a new program with your mission to help young people to come out here to Côte d'Ivoire, my home country. Most of the missionaries have left Côte d'Ivoire in September 2002 when a civil war started. So I am excited to work in partnership with you here in Bouaké.

La traduction, que c'est difficile! I'm so glad you enjoy my blogs -- I hope to keep up the spirit and prolific nature throughout the year.

Salut Timothee! Ça va? I see you are interested in translations, so as the French teacher, I think we will be great friends! I'd love to know a little bit more about you -- what lights your soul on fire?

Bonjour Mon Ami! Great to see you joining our online community with Journey Corps. We need your help to get us Muzungus (east Africa= white man) to talk and walk more like an Ivoirian!

Welcome Timothee!

Glad you joined here. We are having Jim Copeland and Daniel Graybeal here in Bouake with us right now. Jim the International Director of Journey Corps is leaving back to the States next week. But Daniel is going to be here for a while and is looking forward to meeting you. Give me a call when you are back from Nielle.

Here, have a look what I found. It's the story we worked on in your English Club. Is great to see William's village and family and the wind mill he built. What an amazing story!!
