Profile Information

Why are you interest in Journey Corps?
Phil and I have worked for years with college students. In them we see a huge passion for Christ. They want to serve Him wherever He leads. But that's the problem, they aren't sure what that looks like or how God leads. That's what Journey Corps is all about. It's a place where these amazing young people will develop in their understanding of God and His purposes for them and the world. They will learn in community with nationals and other Americans how to serve effectively. We are thrilled to be a part of this dynamic ministry and mentors.
Your Heart For Missions
God has saved me, in spite of my faithlessness and sin. Because of His grace I am now His child. He has also granted me the privilege to be a part of his reconciliation ministry to those who don't know Him. My role in missions is to develop next generation leaders for church and missions.
How Would You Rate Your interest in Missions? 1 being little interest 10 being life calling
My husband, Phil and I served in Rwanda, E. Africa for 14 years. We now serve as Mission Coaches for WorldVenture.
What interests, abilities, and gifts has God given you?
I love listening to and encouraging fellow believers. I love to teach and do seminars. I am a trained artist and love to do illustrations and paintings. Writing is also a passion.
How Did You Find Us
I work for WorldVenture as a Mission Coach.

Hey, it has been going well.  My job has been extended through the middle of October which is great.  We are now at 35% of monthly support and we have been working on getting 10 new partners per month, which has been a good goal.  We are excited to get to Africa too.

We are excited to be there at the same time as you and Phil.  We currently have 30% of our monthly expenses committed and 100% of our one time.  We are hoping to leave in the fall.

hi! I'm not sure exactly if I sent my application to you guys and wondered if you knew where I'm at since you told me it takes on average 2yrs for people to get on the mission field. I don't want to wait til I'm ready to go on the field and then have to spend 2 more yrs trying to get over there... let me know. thanks!
