I am a Mission Coach with WorldVenture; I am walking with people who are involved in developing Journey Corps.
Your Heart For Missions
My heart for missions has first of all developed out of my own personal experience with God. Over 30 years ago someone intentionally telephoned me one day simply to share the Gospel with me. She did that because of her love for God and because she deeply cared about people coming to know God in a personal way. I believe that heart flows out of God's own heart. He loves every person as we each are created by Him in His image. He longs for people to know Him personally, to come into community with Him and with one another. We who know Him intimately are His ambassadors, His voice, hands and feet to one another and those who have not yet come to Him personally. My heart for mission flows out of God's heart of reconciliation through His Son Jesus.
Missions Involvement
I've been with WorldVenture for over 20 years ministering together with my husband, Jeff, in Southern Sudan, Kenya, Senegal and Uganda. Now we are based in Portland, Oregon walking with people in their missional journeys.
How Did You Find Us
I first heard of Journey Corps while living in Northern Uganda when our International Ministries Director presented the proposed pilot program. We had hoped to start a Journey Corps community in Southern Sudan where we were attempting to build a ministry.

Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone; therefore we are saved by love.
Nothing which is true or beautiful or good makes complete sense in any immediate context of history; therefore we must be saved by faith.
