Deciding and praying for direction in my last year of undergrad... should I save money and stay one semester or go the whole year?

- Why are you interest in Journey Corps?
- I am interested in missions but I feel I need more direction in where God is leading me. Journey corps program sounded interesting to me because of the wide range of programs such as sports and arts.
- Your Heart For Missions
- At Urbana I did not get a strong calling to any specific country or people but to first work on my relationship with God and then influence those around me at school for Christ. This last semester I started a devotional on my soccer team and ended up leading my coach and on of my teammates to Christ.
I am an athlete and an artist at heart. The process of realizing I can use these gifts for God has been a long, transformative process. Finding this out has been nerve wracking but also freeing and exciting.
I am also an intercultural minor because I have a passion for understanding others and learning more about how others live and think.
- How Would You Rate Your interest in Missions? 1 being little interest 10 being life calling
- In high school I went with to Mexicali, Mexico with my church. The program was run under the direction of Azusa University. I went each year during Spring Break for the week. My sheltered and ignorant life was shattered with sharing life and joy with the children and families we came in contact with. The experience was one factor is wetting my appetite for knowing and seeing other cultures, and worshiping together as one body under Christ.
- How Did You Find Us
- At Urbana, I also went online to arrange a meeting with Michelle and Jeff. They are really cool.
