God has given me a passion for Africa and now I am trying to discover why that may be. I am very interested in this program and have tons of questions. So i thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to possibly join.
Your Heart For Missions
I have a HUGE passion to go to Africa. I have no idea why, or with who, or what I could possibly be doing over there, it's just something God has placed on my heart. I love to love and I love seeing and learning more about cultures and how diverse God's Creation really is.
How Would You Rate Your interest in Missions? 1 being little interest 10 being life calling
Ironically I have never been on a real mission yet...it's again something God has placed on my heart and has sparked my curiosity. I have been to Mexico multiple times with my church to build houses for families and to skid row to hang out with the homeless. Other than that I'm just trying to minister to those around me in my community while I am still home.

very much looking forward to having you here. I like what you are writing and sharing. Especially that quote where you said: "Stop telling God how big your storm is and start telling the storm how big your God is." Amen? Let's put faith in Him and know that we're in this for a reason."
Let us know how else we can help you besides praying. Joyfully in Christ, Angelika
Darling face!!
How is preparation coming? (sorry if you are over people asking you) I am just trying to get a feel for how people are doing.. I hope you are wonderful!! What have you been up to lately??
Love,
Lin
Alyssa - great to see you on here! Katrina and I are looking forward to meeting you in Cote d'Ivoire, as we'll be helping to lead up this whole crazy thing we're all getting into. I'm glad to hear you've been to Mexico - though I would count that as a real mission trip, why don't you? I'm a huge believer in learning through asking questions - so start firing away with any of them you may have to whoever you Journey Corps you feel you'd like to ask. One question for you as you continue in this journey and seek to see what God's doing: beyond verbalizing it, what in your life conveys your passion for Africa? [Thinking through this may begin to show you why that passion exists]
I work with Journey Corps in Denver. If you have any questions, hit me up. Remember our deadline for starting application is Feb 15th. If you are at all interested in joining us in W Africa, it would be wise to fill out the "Start your Journey" deal.
