Allison, you know that launching a new international ministry will take many hands with different skills to insure a world class program. I would like to hear more about your desire to help us with Journey Corps.
I love the spirit of community involved in this project. I love the idea of being able to support and encourage other believers as well as ministering to those in the area who haven't had an opportunity to hear about Christ's love. My husband and I are praying for God to show us if there is a leadership role for us in this project.

hi people, thanks for your response.
you are on very solid ground with world venture. my aunt and uncle, lois and james gould went as W.Ven. missionaries in 1960 and started in paris with 1 yr language training then on to ferkessedougou, cote d'ivoire to work with unreached and then un translated nyarafolo people.uncle jim gave his life christmas day 1965 there in wreck on way home from taking first 5 believers home to pissankaha village after Christmas dinner in ferke. my aunt lois was called to stay another 17 years and worked at hospital baptiste there which is world renouned for HIV research but beyond that well know for serving medical and spiritual needs of 10's of thousands of african peoples in their and 5 surrounding countries serving up to 160 peoples everyday. glenn and linn boese and lots of others continue that work and you can read linns writings at frontline on W>V> site they are the greatest.
during my trip i'm going to meet 2 of the first 5 believers in pissankaha that are still alive.wow.
world venture formerly conservative baptist missions or CBI has stood by my aunt for 50 yrs and now with retirement funds. let this be a lesson or two for youall. you've been saved by grace. relationships and who you hook your wagon to will really matter. i hope you can pass this same kinda message on in 50 yrs.
