I'll start!! This was an awesome study and quite a bit stood out to me. I love how in Deut. 8:1-18, the Israelites were reminded of how God had blessed them SO MUCH along the way, just so they wouldn't lose sight of WHERE the blessings were coming from. In the book we all received called 'Funding Your Ministry', Scott Morton was saying to have a "vertical view" about funding, as if it was coming straight down from heaven; not to depend on others or even our OWN hard work. This mind-set has honestly changed my view on the whole fundraising concept. We can't do it on our own, and we need to depend on God because He IS the source!!

That is such a good point April! I tend to forget that and start doing the math to work it out. Haha the other day I was doing the math for my personal budget and I came to realize there was no earthly way it would have been working out for me, but God made it work out. God blessed it all and I actually had more than I needed. The math did not line up, but that is no problem for God. Realizing this yet again has produced such peace. Everything is his anyway, including our money that we work for. If we have an attitude of honoring him with it all, we have nothing to worry about. God is in control, he knows what he is doing and he is not bound by logistics and numbers he is far above them!
